Children’s Ministry

“But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

The children’s ministry here at Westport Baptist Church is growing and vibrant. There are several opportunities available for children of various ages to be involved here at the church. Throughout the year we have different events planned to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus. We have an Egg Hunt at Easter, as well as a Hallelujah party (Halloween Alternative) in October, VBS in June and finish the summer off with a camp for the children. Throughout the week there are plenty of chances to get involved to learn more about our Lord. We have an awesome Awana program every Wednesday night at 6:30 as well as Sunday school for all ages. For the children to further the gifts and abilities that God has given to them we offer a children’s choir that sings periodically as well as an annual musical presentation. We are looking forward to see all that God will do here this coming year with the children here at Westport Baptist Church.
