Mike Young - Senior Pastor

     On July 22, 2001, I was called to be the pastor of Westport Baptist Church. I have several goals for our church, but my main goal is two fold. Number one and foremost is to help people know for sure they have trusted Christ as their savior and are on their way to heaven. If you do not know for sure you are on your way to heaven, I invite you to read 'God's Plan of Salvation' that is listed on the menu. Second is that Westport Baptist Church would be a church that ministers to the needs of people. When people come to visit our church I want them to see that we are a friendly church and we care about people.

     When anyone in our church or in our area has a need, I want us to be the kind of church that helps meet those needs. So if you do not have a church home, or if you are looking for a new church home, come and visit with us and let us have the opportunity to minister to you and your needs.
